Description

The BPG Suppressor Cover Heavy is designed to protect suppressors that are 1.5 inches in diameter, fitting any length between 5” and 9”. All Burn Proof Gear suppressor covers are crafted to be 0.5 inches longer than the suppressor itself, ensuring a secure ‘No-Slip Fit’ by cinching around the front and rear of the suppressor. The Heavy cover is made from aerospace and military-grade fire retardant materials, featuring DuPont Kevlar diamond weave ripstop with a maximum operating temperature of 1400 F (roughly 180 rounds fired of m855). The inner liner is composed of fiberglass mesh sleeving, which can withstand temperatures up to 2000 F. Once installed on the suppressor, the overall diameter should not exceed 1.75 inches. The cover weighs less than 3 ounces at its shortest configuration and 5.5 ounces when fully extended to 12.5 inches long. It is a two-piece design: an inner sleeving cut to length and the outer cover. This cover resists extreme heat, allowing operators to transition confidently without burning their legs, pants, or other gear. Additionally, it reduces heat mirage on precision applications and IR emission during no-light operations. The Burn Proof Gear suppressor covers are made in the USA and can withstand rigorous use. Outer layers come in Black, Flat Dark Earth (FDE), Wheat Tan Kevlar fabric rated to 1400 F max temp, while Gray and Multicam options are rated to 800 F max temp and are meant for precision use only. Safety Disclaimer: Allow the cover to cool completely once it is too hot to touch before resuming your firing schedule.
