The Area 419 TBAC BA Suppressor Mount Adapter is designed to integrate your compatible suppressors with the Sidewinder Self Timing Brake system. By removing your existing Sidewinder Brake and installing this adapter, you can seamlessly use your suppressor with the brake system. The mounts are Black Nitrided to prevent galling and meet manufacturer specifications without being associated with them in any way.
These adapters do not use a collar like the muzzle brake; instead, they get torqued directly into your suppressor, allowing it to become a direct thread onto the Sidewinder Universal Adapter (left hand). This design makes the mount more compact and adds minimal length to the overall system. Area 419 recommends using blue Loc-tite on the external threads of the mount for semi-permanent attachment within the suppressor.
Since you will be threading the can in a left-hand direction, it is important to torque the adapter properly into the suppressor to prevent unscrewing when attaching to the barrel. If issues arise due to improper torquing, simply turn the components in opposite directions and start over. Gen 2 Mounts come with an included wrench.
