The Area419 Hellfire 2P Muzzle Brake is designed to provide optimized performance for semi-automatic and hunting weapons systems with barrels of 20 inches or less. This brake ensures the greatest performance while maintaining shooter comfort. Part of the patent-pending HELLFIRE Modular Brake System, it was engineered from the ground up to be extremely effective, easier to install, and more versatile than existing self-timing brakes.
Notable Features:– Extremely easy installation; the brake will not turn as you torque the collar to lock.– Simple round knurled nut that requires no tools for timing the brake.– Excellent return-to-zero performance, meaning removal and reinstallation of the brake won’t require a zero change.– Installation involves torquing the universal adapter onto your barrel with a 5/8-inch wrench. The piece never has to come off. Next, left-hand thread the brake/collar assembly onto the adapter until it is almost snug. Rotate the brake until it is level, push it into the adapter and feel it lock onto the taper. Finally, tighten the collar fully by hand.
The Hellfire 2P Brake offers two caliber selections to simplify choices for shooters: 6mm, 6.5mm, and 30cal. The difference in efficiency between using a caliber-specific brake bore and the next size up is minimal or non-existent, allowing Area419 to lower costs while maintaining performance.
